Case Knife drop rate

Greetings.
Had a question, since a long time, as about the knife drop rate from crates.
As an example: E-sports case has 10 possible drops. Bravo case has 16 possible drops.

Does that fact mean that it is more possible to get a knife from the E-sports cases, or the rarity and drop frequency are still the same?

who the f**k knows, seems to be users new to steam get all the good drops/cases..
dude... ive spent about $200 or more opening cases and the only decent thing ive had is a well worn stattrak ak-47, everything else is crap

That's why I don't spend money on keys lawl. I don't trust my luck with these things so I just sell my cases or trade them

try just opening cases you earned in game . rather than buying Tons of them for 3 cents and expecting them to yield knives... or any really good drops imo... my theory is that if its ment to be ... its ment to be. i wouldnt stress over drops or trying to get certain items just cause they look cool. everything loses its cool factor after like 2 days of playin with it anyways.. and if you value people OOgleing over your equips and telling you " WOW MAN COOL KNIFE!! " LUCKY!!.. then i guess your in it cus you wanna look cool and not to play the game for the big W....(win) ... or just have fun.. the cosmetic things and ranks dont mean shizzle if you are not having fun and striving to be better every new game. after all... a knifes a knife they all do the same dmg and hold the same function.. you might look cool with that flashy knife but if you dont know how to use it.. it really just shouldnt matter.. but different strokes i guess.. ;) GLHF

heres my story with drops... iv opened a total of about 10 cases give or take 1 or 2 IDK but i think about 10 TOTAL. meaning iv only spent 20$ of my own cash in my steam wallet on keys. and never purchased any cases . i always earned them in game and then opened them as they came. but the only thing i wanted was a knife cus for me i diddnt really care about any of the other drops i just wanted a knife cus it seemd like the coolest item to have and i liked the animations each one had . anyways... i think out of opening my total of 10 cases in my cs:go career i got i 1 stattrack mp7 skulls and the rest were just a couple purp items and other greys.. but on this 1 funny match i played. i was talking over the mic about how i diddnt really care for any of the new skins and all i really wanted was a knife and at the end of that game i got a cs:go case.. i still had some money in my steam wallet i think about 5$ er so idk from the 20 i pute in there and on my 6 or 7th case i ever opened i got a M9 bayonet | Urban masked .... i was kinda amazed... just the way it came to happen and the events and conversations i had before aquiring it just seemed imperticular to me... anyways... 10 cases for me . all aquired from legit comp matches . never used market and 10 cases = 1 knife skin a few purples and i think the rest common (trash drops as some would say).... soo idk from what iv seen. the people who buy TONS of cases and keys and do these MASSIVE openings of like 200 or 50 or watever and get less or equel to what i got from 10 cases just makes me believe drops are Earned more than bought.. but still its a gamble and it could be anything... idk thats just my experience and theorys.. i dont give them any form of all true lable or reasoning.... hope that was incitfull and interesting... and sorry for my terrible WALL OF WORDS.. if you tldr ill understand ;) (winky face) glhf

Thanks for all the replies and the story analysis. Actually, that's what i do, i just open the cases i drop in-game, i do not buy any extra cases.

If i really badly want a skin, i will just buy it, unless it is a really really high value skin, and in that case i won't. By high value i mean a Stattrak AK-AWP (well ok AWPs are not that exp anymore...) or a knife. Trying to get lucky on that Knife. I think i've opened around 100 boxes so far (maybe im wrong). I bought some boxes the 1st week the Arms deal update was up, and after that, that was it... opening just the cases i drop.

Anyways, GLHF everyone and Merry Dogemas. Wow. Very tree. Much presents. So Santa. Wow.

How is it a scam? The price of these items are very low because of the amount of people selling them. Everyone wants to open cases so the market gets flooded with low priced skins.

Also I hear the knife drop rate is about 1 in every 100 cases opened.

After watching quite a few videos from different channels, and recording 347 drops, these are the results:
Mil-spec (Blue) Drops: 78.8% (287)
Restricted (Purple) Drops: 16.2% (59)
Classified (Pink) Drops: 2.5% (9)
Covert (Orange) Drops: 1.6% (6)
Exceedingly Rare (Yellow) Drops: 0.8% (3)
