w/ phenom x4 965 Be low fps
Hi.

65-120 fps with everything on low with this pc:

Be Quiet! Pure Power CM L8 730W
ASRock 970 Extreme4
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition OC 4.0 GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
Sapphire R9 Dual-X 270X 2GB GDDR5
Kingston 1x4GB DDR3 1600 Hyperx

Not think it is problem of the graph because my previous 6950 I also spent
From what I have understood, would have to go between 200-300 fps.
I updated the bios but the problem persists, and not to do ..

Sorry for my bad english

i dont know much about computers, but maybe the 4 GB Kingston needs another one?
Updated grafics driver?
ek0o_o Nov 17, 2013 @ 10:25pm
not need more RAM and less for cs. mY grafics driver are updated

1. You have no ram
2. Your CPU is being bottlenecked.

Nuff said. You need to upgrade.
ek0o_o Nov 17, 2013 @ 10:36pm
no bottlenecked i search. I know that I need more ram but it is enough for cs.. I play BF3 60fps ultra stables..
Skooma Nov 17, 2013 @ 10:43pm
Try maxfps 0
Or maybe valadate files. I'm running cs go on mostly maxed w/o shadows and shaders at ~200+ fps easily with a 7750 and a 965 BE @ 3.8.
I still think it's a bottleneck.
ek0o_o Nov 17, 2013 @ 10:58pm
I have tried many types of stable overclock, I'm sure it's not the fault of the OC.

I do not think that is the bottleneck, and sought mucgo about it, ie drawn the conclusion that I do not bottleneck, and if I do is minimal, I invite you to look.

E leeido amd things that is very compatible with the game, and in some cases passed, but you can fix, but I do not find as much I'm looking pretty desperate and xDD

Run with 4x AA, Trilinear Filtering, Last two off? MCR on. In your CCC set the card to run everything based on performance and not quality. MAke sure in the power settings thats it's not in any kind of power-saving mode(This includes the HD, USB buses, everything).

BTW your power supply sucks. Esspecially since that card alone pulls 180 Watts...well max.

And why did you even OC that chip? I sense there is instability going on, there should be no reason for you to want to OC any of that. Put your CPU back down to normal voltages. Worse case scenario you already did some damage.
Dïngus Nov 17, 2013 @ 11:16pm
Another thing. I'm kind of Old School, but back in the 939 days Ram and CPU bus matching was a big deal when it came to OC'ing properly. Not only that Ram plays a big role in how well everything performs. Your OC might be totally messing up the stability of the Ram, not sure how to explain this it's been a while. What are the specs of your ram anyways? Like the latency and whatnot. BTW 4GB is not alot...

I suggest you google "Ram timing and overclocking" or "CPU RAM Timing matching OC" or something like that to get a better understanding of how to PROPERLY Overclock that specific setup.
ek0o_o Nov 17, 2013 @ 11:37pm
all power supply olny has 150w search pls.. the oc is stable i run diferents test for 24h an max tº is 54º in idle 32º in BF3 47º . With OC BF3 has in Ultra settings 58fps-80fps in low 104-85 fps.Oc no is the problem.

The problem is compatibility with amd or other thing strange.

ek0o_o Nov 18, 2013 @ 12:11am
The overcklock no influences in CS: GO FPS, increase me in bf3, so I'm saying has nothing to do with the overclock, I'm sure it's stable. The problem is simply that it is not, please let the issue of OC that is not the problem.
Dïngus Nov 18, 2013 @ 12:27am
BF3 is highly optimized. I'm not sure whats going on with your CS:GO but try running it like I said with the settings I provided in post#8
Dïngus Nov 18, 2013 @ 12:30am
BTW 65-120fps is not bad at all. I dont exactly why you think that is poor...Is your monitor 120hz? Do you want to keep it at a minimum of 120fps? Also if you are running it on 1920x1080 try bumping that down to 1366x768. Or if not set it to the Native resolution of your monitor. There are a bunch of other things you could try, just start with the basics.

1. Go in to CS:GO properties in your library. Verify the game integrity.
2. Uninstall CS:GO completely and reinstall if #1 does not fix.
*3. UPGRADE YOUR DAMN RAM ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE RUNNING WINDOWS 7 OR 8. RAM IS CHEAP.

MY SETUP:
965 BE
8GB RAM
(3) TRIFIRE RADEON 5850 BE
WIN 7
SEASONIC 1050W PSU

If I can run this game with a stock 965 BE and (2) crossfire 5850 with constant 200+fps full settings @ 1920x1080, you should have no problem. BTW turn off vertical sync.
ek0o_o Nov 18, 2013 @ 12:41am
I tried everything as u said, not run anything. Thanks anyway
