But, why people say lower dpi is more accurate is because, the higher dpi you have to faster your mouse movements will be, so essentially all those people are saying "Use low sensitivity, it makes you move accurate" which is certainly true, now what to use? I myself use 1200 DPI on my mouse, why? Because most games don't support a low enough sensitivity option to keep my desired sensitivity.
So what should you do? Just test around. I recommend keeping your sensitivity low. If you put it very high, you maybe can turn around fast, but small adjustments become very hard to accurately make. And accuracy is a very large factor in winning a gun fight.
Just find something that initially feels good, then stick with it. :)
I still can't believe how high mine used to be. I literally moved micrometers and made sharp reactions with millimeter mouse movement. Not to mention high sensitivity made me grip my mouse hella hard. I don't think my mouse ever even moved more than a few inches during a game, that's how sensitive. Now, everything is smooth and easy. I also have a relaxed mouse grip(usually
Ok I found the numbers lol. 3600 DPI + Mouse sensitivity set to 10 in CSGO.

But speed is not so important.
I found musle memory is easier with a slower speed. As for accuracy, that comes with "focused" practice.
Use the workshop map training_aim_csgo while making adjustments so you can see if there is an improvment or not.
I myself have settled on 800dpi, windows sens 6/11 and in game sens 1.4
Increasing DPI and then lowering ingame sens until the speed is the same will make the crosshair have smaller movements. E.g. 800 dpi with 1.5 sens will have smaller increments than 400 dpi with 3.0 sens, but at slower sensitivies it doesn't make much difference.
And 1600 dpi in game 1
And 2600 dpi in game 0.80
