Csgo dev console issue

My native language is Portuguese [pt-br]. But recently I bought an American (us) standard keyboard, the problem is, every time when I open the console and type something it closes instantly. Until I switch the console to English, console doesn't work fine, and I have to do every time when I open the game. Can I change my default console settings to English in somewhere?
