prime status revoked

hey guys can you help me about status PRIME in cs;go? I was scammed recently on api scam. The thieves revoked my prime status. In the game, it doesn't show me the rank of the level, it only writes to buy prime status, but I already have it, I have a loyalty badge and when I want to buy it via steam prime, it's impossible because I already have this item.Have any of you experienced this or know how to fix it?

A hacker can't remove prime status, not even sure if steam support can do that. They usually only can remove the game from your library entirely.

You have 700+ comp wins so of course you hsve prime. If it says otherwise ingame just write a support ticket.

My only advice would be removing the game from your library and reinstalling. You could try and check the integrity of your game files by going to Library > CSGO (right click) > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.

Hi Teddy i have the same problem. Did u find a way to restart the prime? I even lose my cs2 beta access for this reason.

Im experiencing the same thing. He also put "banned" on my account and i can't remove it yet i can play normal matchmaking, faceit and esportal. It's only premier which i can't play. So basically i hjave no prime haha.

Some bloke, pretending to work for steam, but he contacted me via steam chat and said he would help me sort out the problem yet i know steam support dont interract with users through steam chat nor discord or anything like that so im certain he's just a scammer, just really confused to as how he gained access to my biography info and changed it without logging me out of my account.

He told me that valve or steam had received a lot of reports on my account, regarding cs2 and that he was there to figure out why, yet that makes no sense to me since a report requires a reason. I accidentally closed the chat tab so i don't have access to the convo anymore though i do have 3 screenshots of some things he said.

im currently facing this issues, and he was able to get my name banned some how. i blocked the steam account that was sending me messages, but i still need help.

I have the same issue when it happen to me, you just have the free cs installed you need to delete it

Your account is COMPROMISED. Do these steps now.

Scan for malware

Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change passwords from a clean computer

Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey - This field should be blank

After you do that you can restore your prime.

Go to https://help.steampowered.com/en/

Scroll down and enter the name of the game in the search bar.

Click on the game.

Select "It's not in my library"

Select "Restore the previously removed package to my account"
