I have both + karambit.

- Butterfly simply for the animation.
- M9 for the abimation and since colour shemes like doppler look great on it
- Karambit for the animation

So depending on how much money you have and what's more inportant for you (animation or colour) chose butterfly or m9.

M9 for sure smooth pullout animation , I got bored of bfk because of spamming R + F

Everytime I had M9, after a few weeks I wanted to trade it for a BFK knife.
M9 has the best knife design in the game (in my opinion) but there's nothing else that makes this knife special, simple pull out animation, simple inspect. Butterfly is nuts, 2 pull outs, personalised pull out sound, 3 inspects, and the prices of BFK knives are going crazy. Go for a BFK knife ;D
