bullets not going straight??
why is it that sometimes when im absolutely not moving, my bullets don't appear to be going straight? example: using an awp and the crosshair is right on the targets chest it still misses, and keep in mind i have not moved for more the 15 seconds.

first person tracers aren't accurate.

if you mean the crosshair isn't exactly where the center should be pointing, at a given situation, that makes sense to me. thanks for the responce. im guessing its more luck based than skill then. and that would make sense as to why sometimes im dominating and other times im getting crushed

this is so wierd. is it true?

something i just had been noticing in real time gameplay. i myself am wondering if it is

If the enemy is moving and you are really slow on clicking you will surely miss. The guns are 100% acurate try on a non moving target. It's all about 64tick servers, latency and packet loss.

that is true too, but for somereason on a moving target it doesn't seem so. i have shot the wall and you right it is on target, its moving targets that i see the issue more. i also wondering if it could be attributed to lag

one instance it was obvious is i had three opponents coming out of a double door and i missed all three with almost no gap to hit. to me that is odd

bullet drop does apply in this game.if you are taking long shots with awp adjust that ♥♥♥♥

If you are standing perfectly still, the 1st shot will go directly to the crosshair (deagle is an exception.) What you may be experiencing is a combination of lag, packet loss, or poor server interpolation, as you seem to only notice it on moving targets.

No there is no bullet drop.

Yea there is no bullet drop all shots go straight. And what this guy said. It's a mix of the low server tick rate combined with your PC getting a high fps rate which ♥♥♥♥♥ you up. Try limiting your fps in the console using fps_max xxx. Sadly the lowest I can go is 120 otherwise I start getting a ♥♥♥♥ ton of screen tearing.

ok.

just remember, as you fire more, "Deviation" (AKA RNG) affects the initial flight of the bullets, which means they don't come out of the gun straight, hence "Cone of Fire" so even if you compensate for recoil (percieved and actual) perfectly, you won't always hit precisely the same spot. This isn't a big deal though since at the distances where you notice this, you would have killed them faster by 1-4 shot burst to the head or 1 tapping

cool.. yea that makes sense about the range and accuracy.. another thing i noticed as well was i recently started playing on a tv and streched the screen to full screen.. i think this was also creating accuracy problems, so now i use windowed mode to make the resolution accurate... and believe or not, it made a difference.. and the burst firing makes a huge difference too but sometimes i can't shoot fast enough.. but i guess that takes practice :p thx guys
