Stats at the Bottom Right of My Screen?

So my brother claims he opened up CS:GO through the dashboard shortcut; now, when I open it through Steam, it has my ping, tick, fps, etc. on the bottom right of the screen, kind of like in a Fraps style. Also, there is no sound. Yes, I have checked the audio options.

open console with the ` button and type net_graph 0 to turn those stats off.

Thats the command that shows the statistics.
Don't know about your sound, check all the usual.

Wow....I used that command and it got rid of the stats AND recovered my sound. Thanks a lot, both of you.
