Why is the galil considered inferior even though it does about the same damage as the M4?

Galil in fact has better armour penetration and slightly less recoil than the M4A4. Compared to the silenced M4A1 the Galil has a wider spray pattern than the M4A1-S so it has more sideways recoil. Galil still has better armour penetration than the M4A1-S.

All of these (especially the M4A1-S with the silenccer equipped). But we also can't forget the faster rate of fire and the less important but still superior movement speed. Same speed as a P90, very very nearly the same speeds as a Deagle.

It's all personal preference. Some like using a famas over an m4 and a galil or aks. The attributes are different but if you master the weapon it can be as lethal as its coutnerpart.

Galil is waaaaay inaccurate. First shot sometimes doesn't even go where the crosshair is.

All weaponry is really prefrence, just because the galil is cheaper (not to mention on a different team) than the my, doesnt mean that it is better or worse. The m4 is not even the galil's ct equivelent, the famas is. But anyways, if you want accuracy then the m4 is what you want but i you want power or if your money is low then the galil is a great option.
