Get the headshots with this crosshair!

Ever wanted to use a custom crosshair in CS:GO? Well, with this tutorial you can! I'm going to show you how to make a simple yellow dot for your crosshair using only the console (if you don't know how to turn the console on do a quick google search).

First you are going to start CS:GO and open up the console; You can do this by pressing the tilde ` key which is also the ~ key and it is the key to the left of the number 1 on your keyboard.

Next you are going to enter the commands below one at a time and hit enter after each one.

Commands:

cl_crosshairstyle "2" // Sets it to the old style crosshair
cl_crosshairusealpha "1" // Turns on alpha
cl_crosshairalpha "255" // Sets the transparency to zero
cl_crosshaircolor "2" // Sets the color to yellow
cl_crosshairdot "1" // Turns on the dot
cl_crosshairthickness "2" // Sets the size of your dot
cl_crosshairgap "0" // Part of removing the cross
cl_crosshairsize "0" // Part of removing the cross

Now for how you can customize this:

When I first did this I didn't know a cross hair generator site existed. But, needless to say I later found one: www.krisskarbo.com/csgocrosshair . This site is easy to use but I do recommend learning the commands yourself so you don't have to keep going back to this site just to change your crosshair a little bit. If you want to see what the crosshair looks like or edit the crosshair that I gave you just go to this link: http://tools.dathost.net/ (The old link was no longer functional - This website serves it's purpose very well)
