I will no longer buy keys. I haven't spent much but I opened 3 winter cases because I would like every single skin in the set except for two. Naturally, those are the two I got (one I got twice).

That's basically the price of an indie or sale game for two skins I don't want and one I "can't even use" (because I own it twice). I know it's supposed to be random luck based but the price isn't worth it. Keys should be $0.99 max and an extra 50 cents to choose which skin you get (but no chance at the red or rare). A dollar per skin like most freemium titles is fine but 10$ for 4 skins you already own? Forget it.

Your $70 is worth about $2-4 now and I can buy all your guns for less than a quarter each unless you got lucky with rare or high conditioned drops. Rares are the only reason to open cases, otherwise you can have over half the set for the price of the key... and even then, for $70 there isn't much you couldn't have already bought.

There's nothing wrong with spending money on a game he enjoys. If he has an extra $1000, blows it off on CS:GO skins (lol!) and enjoys those skins then more power to him.

To be honest if you kept buying cases and keys after the first 5 sucked then you got what you had coming. The keys and cases are for valve's profit not ours. You are better off just buying a skin you want of the market. Better yet don't buy anything. The stock skins play the same.
