Tie Breaker in Competitive
I feel like ending an intense competitive game with a tie is really anti-climatic and is just wasteful because nether team wins nor loses. I feel as if a tie breaker, maybe 1 round or a best of 3, would be really suspenseful and add a sense of accomplishment by pulling away from a close game by winning the tie breaker. Tie breakers or "Over-Time" is present in almost every sporting event and this would be a fantastic addition to Counter-Strike if it were to be added in the next big update.

Not only would it show which players are truely skilled and are better than the opposition, but it would make CS:GO Competitive extremly competitive. When the game is on the final rounds teams that are winning usually (in my experience) decide to do silly and stupid tactics and they get cocky which resulting in the game being thrown into something worse than a lose, A TIE! A tie doesn't give anyone a sense of accomplishment other than "oh we tied the game and made everyone mad".

VALVe please implement this into the next big update. Make the Competitive MatchMaking a little more competitive and filled with "clutch wins"

But riddle me this Batman. If you tie why would rematch if there is a possiblity to lose for real this time? and no one ever wants to rematch anyways :c

partly this, i've been in rematches, but its more likely people wont do it.

I like the tie breaker idea, I also would love to have a knife round first...and yeah,I know, one can only dream....

would say a tie breaker could be done by have 1 rnd on each side with set amount of cash given.

That is a good idea but the cash amount can't be too much, say about $7000 for guns armor and grenades.

u cant have a tie breaker. because it has to be fair. if there is a tie breaker, than one team will play CT for 16 rounds, and the other only get 15. there are maps that give CT an advantage. Or u can look the other way around, one team get to play T for 16 rounds, and there are maps that give T an advantage. SO TIE BREAKERS WONT WORK!! so keeping the game fair, there shouldnt be any tie breakers.

Idk bro have you ever thought that it can be a best of 3, with the last round being a pistol round?
