End cheating/hacking Forever - Support This Idea!

I think valve should introduce IP Bans, as in if the banned account creates another account they are not able to join offical matchmaking servers, the ban of cource can be appealed if they wish to stop hacking... Enough of the VAC part, heres the overwatch part... we need overwatch live as in, as someone sends the report we're able to spectate the match live and should be able to take immediate action in order to prevent the game from being thrown. of cource these features can be polished by valve and or improved upon but this is just a concept. Post here and bump this thread to create awareness.

once again IP Address = Unique to each Internet service provider
VAC currently works based on the steam id recognition, however we need more than that because cheaters will continusily purchase the game to cheat. an appeal for hacking can be done and lifted ip ban should be done if they dont do it for 2 times after that they should be banned for a year or so or can resubmit an appeal. this is sort of like runescape private servers (for anyone who was a admin or owner) IP ban was useful and effective on controlling cheaters
let us bring this thread up and bring awareness and hopefully it gets implemented

IP Addresses can be changed fairly easy, depending on your provider and modem. This would accomplish nothing.

IP addresses are dynamic in most of the world. Meaning you just need to reboot your internet switch to be provided a new IP by your internet provider.

Meaning this is a stupid idea.

Here is my point of this topic:

Overwatch part:
*Great but will come with allot of technical issues and it will be hard to specc every game beacuse it is like atleast 100 competitive games all time and around maybe at highest 50 average of owerwatchers

Ip ban:

Good
---------
Less hackers

Bad
----
If someone hacks at a family pc it will make the whole household banned
More usage of proxy etc

That is why there is the appeal process, what we could also implement with the ip bans is MAC Address bans witch are harder to change or something even harder to break Hardware ID Bans
sort of how microsoft console bans, yet with all these safe guards we can implement we can add appeals

is it really possible to have MAC bans? if it is i wouldnt ban them.. i would send a virus that overclock the hell out of cpu and disable cooling. valve should hire a group of hackers to do this..

Anyways some of you may comment its easy to change ip blah blah blah however the purpose of this is to make it harder for those cheaters to cheat and make it not worth their time to change/modify all those things to get back into the game again

I'm fine with the game being on sale, we just need the impement these Valve Anti Cheat programs a bit better.
