CS:GO 144hz
Hi, just bought a new gaming PC plus Benq 2420T screen. Any settings to be changed in CS:GO to gain an advantage ?

in set launch options put "-freq 144" without the quotes.

Also, be sure that you have at least 144 fps. Use "cl_showfps 1" or "net_graph 1" to check how many fps do you have.

I know for my Benq my colour settings where really dull, so I increased my digital vibrance in the nvidia control settings and that helped out :)

If you're using a dvi cable and using the launch command -freq 144 then you should be set up....using s hdmi cable will only produce 60hz in game ><

Yes dvi cable, ive got 300+_fps ingame but i am only seeing 120 since my resolution is 1920x1080 120hz..but there is no option for 1920x1080 144hz

Hmm maybe your desktop res is set to 120hz? If your desktop res is set to 144hz then all you need to do is use the launch command -freq 144 and if you can launch the game with no errors then you res in game is at 144hz even if it doesn't say it..

I have a 144hz monitor and my launch options set to -refresh 144 .... but when i play in game its like I'm playing on 10fps or something stupid, even though it says I'm getting a solid 299fps? Anyone know how to fix, please don't say check your monitor has 144hz on in resolution settings cause it does!

Okay, i found out what was causing the horrible fps look. The game was on Fullscreen Windowed which i use because i have dual monitor setup, but if i take it off it works fine. Anyone know how i can set it up so i can use Fullscreen Windowed with 144hz?
