Working Jumpthrow bind // 20.08.2024

If, for any reason, you're unable to press two keys at once for a jump throw in CS2 (it’s really easy, but no judgment), you can still set up a jump throw bind.

Add this to your autoexec:
--------------------------------------------------------------------

alias revert "bind mouse_x yaw"
alias combo "-jump;revert"
alias +jumpthrow "+jump"
alias -jumpthrow "-attack; bind mouse_x combo"

bind x +jumpthrow

--------------------------------------------------------------------

If you add the lines one by one to your console, it will not save and auto-delete once you close the game. To have it permanently, it needs to be in your autoexec.

If you do not know how to do that, google "CS2 autoexec" and find out.

Or just learn to jumpthrow by pressing jump and letting go of the grenade at the same time.

To prevent accidental infractions, in-game binds that include more than one movement and/or attack actions will no longer work (e.g., null-binds and jump-throw binds)."



If you read this in the update you should know that any work arounds are all at your own risk. Even if it works you know they are gonna patch it .

What about commands? Like I am a weirdo who uses my Hypershift mouse button (i.e.: shift on mouse + left click = 4 ) because i fat finger too much on keyboard. It still works in game for me but idk if this is gray area or fine bc it's not exploiting commands it's just making a more accessible keybind for myself.

No dude. If you're using multiple keys to press one button, then that's fine. If you're using autoexec to bind multiple actions to a single key press, then you're done.

Actually it is not a misinformation.. The way he delivered it is tho... Creating an autoexec that do cmds for you is the same as a macro and is a bannable offence. It was clearly stated in the update made to jumpthrow binds and such. They couldnt distiguise between a macro or a bind and thats the reason they made both bannable. So it is true that you can get banned for it. But the odds are low, since it needs to detect the bind being used and it might take more than a couple of games to do so.

This guy is talking about pressing the control key and a button on his mouse to pull out a grenade. That's what I'm talking about.
