Automation Input error.. Me getting kicked 8 times in 3 matches, My Ticket to Support and their response

What I have said "i keep getting automation input error or something, ive been told it could be hardware related with the new razor keyboard, but im running nothing but an apex 3 keyboard with the aerox 3 mouse and steelseries gg's software to support them, in the last 3 games after the latest update ive gotten kicked 8 times. im scared to even press my keyboard when playing because the game seems to think im a robot or something, ive been playing cs2 for a month and have never had an issue with anti cheat of any sort. this isnt the only competitive game i play with an anti cheat but its the only one kicking me for automated inputs. i run no macro no speed clicker no double shot or tap strafing software. i have zero clue on whats happening but i dont want to get banned eventually because im trying to improve my gameplay and move the way some more competitive and experienced players have taught me how to move. i feel its ridiculous that the system cant tell whats connected to the pc, realize what hardware im using or why cant it scan my pc to figure it out instead of reading my inputs and basically telling me " oh your moving to much like a robot we cant have that" " AUTOMATED INPUT DETECTION ERROR " kicked mid round.. like why, just scan my computer, check for whatever, check my hardware, like i'm no genius but man. this is depressing and i dont wanna play much anymore "

Thank you for providing information above, we understand your feelings and the situation.

As of the August 19th, 2024 update to Counter-Strike, players suspected of automating multiple player actions from a single game input may be kicked from matches for use of automation.

If you are using a keyboard that includes an input-automation feature (like "Snap Tap Mode" or SOCD) or you are using null binds, please disable the feature and/or remove the null binds from your config to avoid being disconnected.

We cannot adjust how input automation is detected at Steam Support, and if you are being disconnected for automation the issue lies with the way your input is being sent to the game. Due to the number of ways this kind of automation can be accomplished we cannot provide detailed support for this issue. We recommend checking your hardware or config to resolve the issue.

The Counter-Strike team is and will continue to evaluate data related to player disconnects for automation and make adjustments if needed.

Because we have provided all the information we have for your issue I'm closing this help request. If you have an unrelated issue please open a new help request and we will be happy to help.

im not sure how many nerds are out here but those of you who know about the apex 3 and Aerox 3 knows steel series and its engine does not support any macros or micro movement for its keyboard. same with the mouse. so i guess im stuck getting kicked from games for 0 reason.. im just a robot apparently

I got kicked 3 times from my last game and I don't use any snap tap keyboards and no keybinds, this new update is really frustrating, maybe we will be kicked for abusing mouse click in the next update ...

By the way, I use a old logitech k120 keyboard, without any binds configured, no jumthrows, no counter-strafe, nothing

I also got kicked multiple times in a game for simply strafing. :D:D This update is a major fail. It shouldn't detect normal players doing a-d-a-d as automation. Seriously.

ive played Counter strike for 20 years and i gotta say... this update is TERRIBLE.
ive used the same keybinds for years n years and now all of the sudden its an issue?
when i hold down right mouse button to fire it kicks me saying automation which makes no sense. guess i wont be playing CS2 anymore.

shadow. i think your on something. idk if you feel like reading what ive posted but what you have to say it out the window lol.. Look at what i sent to valve, look what ive posted after that when someone else tried to call me a liar .. and then look at all the proof that other people are running into the same issue. if it makes you feel better. i just bought a corsair k60 so see if the problem continues and guess what. same problem even without steelseries software.. NICE TRY THOUGH xD idiot

if you are using nullbinds you will also be kicked, just rebind your wasd keys in game through the settings and see if anything changes, if not then there is something else.

you cant even bind that anymore

At least on Inferno it kept happening constantly. Maybe it's problem on certain maps? I have the cheapest possible keyboard and never used any scripts.

too funny, as someone thats come from console. were things like this are limited to an elite controller or some extra back buttons, i use stock everything then and now. i find it funny how your just here trolling at this point. its an open issue that im not the only one who has ran into this. also i think you missed when i said ive switched keyboards with no software installed and still. if i click a little to fast peaking. ill get kicked 4/10 times.. you not being able to replicate it means two things. one your apm is just low and your gonna struggle, and two. again you have nothing on your pc. AGAIN, with nothing binded to being able to add macros or however they work.. i dont use them and i dont know. its like week 4 of actually using mouse and keyboard for real.. and i mostly play The Finals

I sent a support too and got the same response. I have a 7 year old red dragon keyboard and have maybe installed the software once just to chance lighting... spoiler alert, stuff like snap tap doesn't exist on this keyboard. No clue what to do because the game seems to think I play like a robot or something
