Me and many other users spent $800+ (sold my knife) on keyboards to have this and now its being taken away. Valve deciding something that is a feature in my keyboard can be too much of an advantage is ridiculous. Next they should ban 240hz/360hz/500 hz monitors as well because those give slight advantages and the pros use them. Im sick to my stomach right now, knowing when I get home from work I wont be able to play with the Snap Tap on. Valve do whats right.

They're doing exactly what's right. W change. Only downside is they're cracking down on jump binds which are pretty common even at high level.

if you're really a competitive team you shouldn't be relying on cheap (or in this case, expensive) gimmicks to get better at the game. Counterstrafing is one of the most basic skills in cs and if you need to spend an inordinate amount of money just to circumvent training a fundamental movement mechanic then you probably have no business trying to compete.

You just sound upset that you spent money on something that's now useless to you. It sounds like a buyer's remorse problem, not a game QOL problem.

snap tap came as an update, I used it as well but just use the rapid trigger and so on.
