Mouse left click not working sometimes

is it me or the new update i purchased the mouse this year and it shouldn't be happening. On everything else it seems fine

Gently press your mouse button then move your finger up and down the surface while applying additional pressure. Keep it pressed during this. repeat 2-3 times.

The metal leaf of the mouse button micro switch can get stuck on occasion. this can temporarily stop double clicking and actuation issues.

If this doesn't improve anything then it's either a software issue or an issue with the hardware of the mouse.

if you mean everything else like web browsing then you might not be feeling the issue but in gaming like CS2 you will feel it because u need to press many times, it's normally a mouse issue and u need to repair or change the mouse, what mouse do you have? is it a common issue in your mouse model? is it a cheap gaming mouse?

There are solutions that fix the issue temporarily. Why not try them since it doesn't cost any money and actually works?

What difference does it make if it's a cheap gaming mouse?
Literally, the majority of top tier gaming mice, their switches fail in about a year. Expensive mice.

I'd rather press into my mouse switch and repeat the steps mentioned in the reddit article and having a mouse without button issues even if it is temporary, instead of spending another 150 canadian dollars on another mouse. Simple easy solution.

thanks for all the replies guys this usually happens sometimes in the start of the round and mid round maybe it's a mouse issue. I have ec2-cw i'll try the mouse pressure method hopefully it will work :D
