Is there any way I can make money on this pass? It's worth a lot of money to me.

Getting cases weekly if you have a prime. If you are lucky, a new case will fall out. Five new cases and you can buy a major ticket.
It's easier and faster to make money in real life.

Thanks for the explanation, but if I buy a pass with money, what does that get me? Just a medal?

you get access to pick ems and if your predictions are right, you get souvenir coins, and with them you can redeem souvenir packages. if you keep these for a couple of years you can sell them for profit

You get a new map collection case if you complete the required number of cjallenges. You can get up to three if you complete them all and I think only one is guaranteed even if you fail the predictions. Depending on the map you can make a profit, but since there's no new map collection and they are already saturated in the market I don't think it's going to be easy this year. But in the last Major I redeemed 3 dust2 containers and sold them for 7 euros each, so I profited.

for every number of challenges correct your coin upgrades (to bronze, then silver, then gold) for every upgrade you get a souvenir coin to redeem a souvenir package. you can sell them afterwards to make profit (however you will need to wait until they value in price)
