Agree,right now its gambling and cheaters and hackers+bots.Few legit players are left, until they ban cheaters and introduce overwatch, there is no chance to play this game .

no. the pixel part of counter-strike is not a "slot machine" . if you buy a key and open a case you are guaranteed to get something.

on a slot machine you guaranteed to win or lose.

definition of outcomes matters. it's technically NOT gambling because you will get a pixel of some worth back every time.

Maybe you get a case for free but can't open it without your "key", I wish I could change my music (ahem, money..)
Games were much simpler in the older games, and more loved by their developers.

Yes simply cosmetic, yet they try to think of this as a competitive game where everyone is on the same. But then they introduce all these new player agent skins that may or may not blend into the background of certain maps. But don't worry they added some "boost player contrast" (honestly i don't see a difference enabled or disabled)
