But sometimes if i want to play CS windowed full screen....
I have had to go windows>display>advanced Display settings>change the monitor refresh rate to the desired amount.
Another thing I've had to do before is go to desktop right click>NVIDIA control panel> Change Resolution>Refresh rate (x armoun). Then In the same window i go to Set up G-SYNC>Enable for windows and full screen mode.
hope any of these help, if not, my bad.
Steps to do that if anyone doesn't know for w/e reason:
1). Open NVIDIA Control Panel
2). Manage 3D Settings
3). Click Program Settings Tab, then select CS2.
4). Set preferred refresh rate to "highest available"
5). Scroll down to Vertical Sync and turn it ON.
It didn't enable GSYNC in game, but it finally freakin locked to the refresh rate of the monitor to 240 and now have no random ups/downs with a 4070 super and 7800 X3D. Feels WAY better. No more stutters. Game runs like CS1.6/CSS/GO. WE'RE FREAKIN BACK BABAYYYYY
Hope this helps!
Thanks
