VAC timeout bug - please help me

I had this VAC timeout bug now for the 12th time. It is so annoying -.-

Already deinstalled a lot of programs (like van control etc.), but nothing helped.

What can I do to make it stop?

Clueless Steam Support can't tell me what programm could cause the issue and how even a programm can block their "VAC system"?

I saw like 5 obviouse cheaters in the past 5 weeks and none of them got either banned or had this VAC timeout happening to them.

That means obviouse cheaters can block their VAC and this VAC timeout protection thing (or whatever you wanna call it) can't detect it, but casual players like me get this annoying VAC timeout bug? -.-

Has anyone suggestions what I can do to stop this VAC timeout bug from happening? Please help.

I've had it a lot as well since valve released cs2 I've never had this issue before, it's a general issue that they should fix because many players experience it like you and me.
it's not related to our computers or any software on our computers that's for sure.
solution I found that helps a bit is "verify integrity of game files"

Yes, I am also very sure that it's their fault, because I have nothing different in my system since I installed CSGO 2 2/3 years ago. Now since about 5 weeks it is happening to me and since this time period I see more and more players with this kind of quit message disconnecting from matches. They have made some changes on their VAC that makes it now go nuts for no reason.

But still the question is why is it happening to just a few players? Its like maybe 1% to max. 5% of all players who have this VAC timeout bug issue. What are we doing wrong or why is this bug not more common?

I also check game data every single time before I start playing CS2, but it is still happening to me and I don't understand for what reason.

Most of the last times I was best player when it happened, but now the last time it happened I was like the 3rd worst player and the match currently started. I have no clue how this VAC timeout bug gets triggered -.-

Hopefully they will fix it soon.

happen to me also. drive me nuts. uninstall ccleaner, process lasso, islc, but happened today after 3 days no VAC timeout. i try to sychronize win time, disable malwarebytes, etc. usally it go away after verify files restart pc.. it happens usally when i execute this strategy. CT dust 2 smoke mid end go tunel with MAG-7 after 2-3 lucky one shot kills it get me VAC timeout..

Since they made some changes on their broken vac "system" I now have disconnectes for NO REASON while real (blatant) cheaters can play whole matches without having any issues with that broken vac ♥♥♥♥♥ -.-

Why are the developers of vac so incompetent? By trying to fix their broken vac they made it even worse...

I need help. I have this vac timeout bug now for the 22nd time getting disconnected from server for no reason. I have tried everything that you listed in your article to this vac timeout bug issue, but nothing is working.

Why is this happening to me? Can you please explain to me, what do I have to do to stop the game disconnecting me from the server for no reason?

It's not only me. I see more and more players get disconnected due to this vac timeout bug. Is there a soltuion to fix that vac timeout bug already in work?

It seems to me that this vac bug happening if a player gets reported (for no reason) and then the broken vac system is doing something in the background and then comes the disconnect for no reason. It's now happening since two month.

It looks like you are being disconnected from matchmaking by Valve Anti-Cheat. This is typically caused by third party software preventing Steam from functioning correctly.

Common programs which cause VAC disconnects include:
Cheat Engine
Steam Idlers
Skin changing software
Windows PowerShell
Hypervisors
CCleaner
As a first step, we recommend restarting your machine without any non-essential software running. Running only Counter-Strike 2 will ensure there are no software conflicts or programs running which would cause VAC disconnects.

To avoid disconnects in the future you will need to identify the software causing the issue and keep it disabled while playing Counter-Strike 2. Please note, if you received a Competitive cooldown in CS:GO as a result of your VAC disconnect we cannot modify or remove cooldowns applied at Steam Support.

After I got 25th time disconnected from match for no reason due to the VAC timeout bug I updated my help request:

I have no "third party software" running while playing CS2 - like all the time when I play CS2 and when I played CSGO back then. I had never any problems with VAC and I NEVER saw this messages on other players before.

It all started after there were made some changes on VAC, then this messages of vac timeout bug started (in game chat @ quit messages of other players I mean). At this time also my issue with vac timeout bug started.

Therefore I assume it has to be a problem with your vac.

Whenever I play CS2 there are no other software running. I even deinstalled some programms (e.g. for vent control / keyboard lighting control etc.), but this didnt help.

Now for the 25th time I had this vac timeout bug.

I tried EVERYTHING that is suggested in your "Disconnected by VAC" article, but unfortunately nothing is helping.

This game is unplayable for me, when I just get disconnected for no reason just because vac is obviously broken.

Can you please help me? What can I do to fix this disconnecting problem?

This player quit messages startet like 2 month ago. In the same time my issues with vac timeout bug started.

I see more and more players disconnecting with this quit message. It just can't be all our fault.

Why fair playing players like me have this vac problem being disconnected from server for no reason while real cheaters (incl. blatant cheaters) seem to have no issues with vac?

Now fot the 27th time I got this annoying vac timeout bug -.-

I again contacted steam support:

"I have now for the 27th time that vac timeout bug and therefore just got disconnected from the casual match for no reason.

Can you please deactivate whatever changes you have done to the broken vac system until you have fixed this bug? This game became unplayable to me.

Since you have something done to your already broken vac it is even more broken now and disconnecting honest playing players like me for no reason from the match while raging and blatant cheaters that not even hiding their hacks can rage hack until they get votekicked out of the match or if the team refuse to kick obviouse cheater they even can stay to the end of the match without having any issues with vac.

How can it be that honest playing players get disconnected for no reason while obviouse (blatant) cheaters can surpass your broken system?

I reported so many cheaters in CSGO and in CS2 and got around 50 cheaters banned and this is your thank you to me? It feels like a slap in the face.

again trying to play mag-7 as ct i got vac timeout.... now only with mag-7 , i got nvidia gpu somehow i get less vac timeouts....
