freeze for me to and i use manjaro.
the game is running natively on Linux, but switching to Proton will download Windows binaries and will run the game through Proton instead. this might fix some issues (and bring others) and sometimes even yields better performance (maybe at the cost of horrible input lag, but only sometimes too)
unfortunately I cannot guarantee this will work but you don't have much options to try anyway I guess…
stuttering cursor sounded like CPU throttling but it's not that because when you play with bots, which is more CPU-intensive, it's fine. since it's connected to the internet connection somehow, maybe faulty wifi drivers?…
the voice of reason !
Yup your best bet is Proton, i tried on ubuntu when it was 18 LTS and worked like a charm, or you can still use the native build but it seems to be faulty
Then it may be a wayland issue i heard about some problems related to proton tho
Please update your findings.
What you can try to do also is to print the binary's output to a file and check it after freeze, i am sure there is some log detailing the issue from stderr
