VACNET works and if you have good trust factor you will basically never see cheaters. If you think you see cheaters everywhere, you are just not good at the game yet.
This screenshot alone completely debunks your comment:

You're subjectively and objectively wrong and this isn't your first or only troll comment.
But yeah I guess all these top 1000 player in premier mode who often advertise their cheats in their name, have 90+% win rate etc. are all just very good. /s
Edit: Cope harder:

(in case you miss it: scroll down to the second green part. Gotta love those 90% hs rate 200 adr 40 kills games within few days and then he plays like trash again as before)
100% legit kappa
Your povs are pointless
Your thought process sounds more like "if I was able to reach x rank, surely there aren't any cheaters below there and if I can't reach higher, surely it's a cheat fest from that point forward".
Luckly I realised the sh*t show it was since 8k and stopped at 11k before I lost sanity and turns out multiple dudes that were cheating on my team and selling cheats aren't banned yet. I had cheaters even in Silver matches, imagine that.
sorry buddy, but your POV is completely wrong.
are you saying that in sports, every referee must be expert at the sports in order to know when someone is cheating or other type of "foul" play is involved?
are you saying that every DEA agent must be drug addicts to know how to detect and find drugs?
my point is that you don't have to even play the game to know who is obviously cheating and who isn't, you only have to know basic mechanics of game, such as which sounds can be heard.
most players are crying for no reason indeed, can't argue there.
i've been accused in cheating aswell, because i don't play some pot and pan beating sounds on background, i can hear every faint sound.
for example one sound that almost nobody knows even exists, is hostage breathing (once picked up by CT). when i'm on T side and CT grabs hostage, i go between main and long and stand behind the wall without peeking, i listen for hostage breathing sound. CT can't get past that area without me hearing the hostage first, but most think that "oh he looks at wall, clearly has wallhack" .. nope, i just listen for the sound.
other sounds that most players have no idea of, are things like dropping a bomb, picking up a bomb, reloading, scope zooming ..etc ..etc
what always makes me laugh so hard, is when someone on T side tries to be "smart" and drops bomb behind corner they're about to peek, but like HELLOOO .. I CAN HEAR YOU DROPPING THE BOMB!
same goes for picking up the bomb, that sound is super quiet, but can be heard. so when i'm guarding the dropped bomb as CT, i don't need to constantly look at it. i usually wait in cover and listen when enemy picks it up, then i jump out and shoot, because this gives enemy location away and i don't have to look for enemy as i know where he is.
most players have no idea how sounds work and then they instantly blame cheats.
this isn't about how good or bad someone is, it's about impossible moves.
if i'm hiding in random corner and enemy stomps like a horse and ONLY prefires the corner i'm in, by ignoring all other corners, then it's quite clear he is cheating.
another good example is when people shoot DIRECTLY at you thru smoke, just recently i had one of those. i instantly knew after just 1 death that he was cheating. it was on inferno, he was spamming in middle of the smoke in mid, i was looking where his tracers are coming from and i peeked just for split second to try and shoot back, but as soon as i went out from behind corner, he instantly turned his aim onto me and stopped spraying random and focused fire. i didn't even have chance to shoot back. i watched replay and it was 100% obvious he had wallhack.
i know exactly what he was doing aswell, he was spraying to reduce suspicion, he was pretending like he randomly got me, but from replay you can clearly see he knew exactly the moment i peeked and instantly turned his aim onto me. it was no luck or skill, it was pure and simple cheat.
he kept doing similar things thruout the match, he was trying to hide it, but he was too dumb to realize that such moves make it obvious.
As about WHY people post on steam forums about cheaters, is to get Valve's attention.
if enough people make noise and complain, then it will bring bad rep onto valve. people hope that if they spam long enough, valve will do something.
the FACT that steam is removing topics related to cheaters, is proof that it is getting under their skin. people just need to do it more and force valve's hand in this matter.
false. vacnet works really well and trust factor segregates cheaters so that legit players do not encounter them. works very well at 14.4k elo for me, i never see cheaters.
i downloaded the demo you were talking about and he just did a common prefire through smoke after hearing ur footsteps. no other suspicious kills. you just need to learn how to play the game and stop accusing people better than you.
