ELO system is trash
Why when someone abandons the game on purpose we lose the whole elo of the game? How are we responsible for them abandoning the game and ruining our experience? Can you just make it half or rematch? Like I don't see the point, had 3 or 4 games in a row with players above 15k elo where someone from the team abandons the match just cause they can't get a single kill in the round and it happens in the first 3rd or 4th round.. I suggest VALVE to fix this issue, cause it's not my fault and I don't see why should I lose the whole elo.. Since you plan to take our whole ELO on 4v5, make us receive DOUBLE ELO for the win so we can find a motivation to continue the game as 4v5..

no 5 stack, u get what u get. just cause ur team ends up being randoms, and 1 leave, dosent mean u shouldent lose elo. its a team match, u decided to play a 5v5 with 4 u dont know. its a game/gamble. its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anoying sure, but its a decision u made when u pressed the accept button for the match. and trust me u aint the only one this happens to. everybody has matches like this. just remember, this is a game, u play it to have fun, not to win (if u play to win, u ned to go pro otherwise it makes no sence cause u cant use skills in video games for anything unles ur pro or streaming. and if u end up in a mtch that u dont like, then leave, take the elo loss and do a new match, maybe its better and u are not angry so long and u will se elo gp back up, its better to play when happy than anoyd cause u always play better when in good mood.

The way that Valorant does it is pretty cool. If a teammate disconnects round one you're able to do a /remake which ends the game with no loss of elo. But it HAS to be round one.

However, it makes sense why you still take elo loss even if someone leaves 'cuz it'd be exploited otherwise. People would party up and leave when losing to prevent point loss or more severe point loss.

They should find a way to fix it, at least we can lose half of the elo maybe. What if I don't have anyone else besides me and the only choice for me to play it's to play as solo? I don't get a point of abandoning match you lose 1k elo and you ruin the match for your teammates. Of course no action will be taken from VALVE, but I felt the urge to share this here.
