CS2 Report System [Opinoins]

We have all had bad games from time to time including bad team mates/team mates you do not get on with. Its expected to get a cool down with a build up of this situations as expected. At what point though do Valve review these reports and issue the cool down to either deserving player? To me it feels like they have built this stand alone system and put all their trust into it! Unfortunately Valve people also use this system in the correct way.

Report system with Faceit,

This topic is beyond stupid. The Valve/CS2 "Report system" should not be accessible to players playing on Faceit servers period.
Its very clear that the the player base on Faceit are extremely more toxic than in Prem/Comp.
Them having the ability to use the report system for CS2 is just a silly thing to do. People have the report system on Faceit for a reason and to be completely honest, The Faceit report system works a treat!

Since the 9th November i have been on cool down!!!!
On the 9th i received a cool down for disconnect, *Hardware issue* [30 Minutes]
I then later received another ban for being involved in an argument and was reported evidently for greifing. I was being greifed. [8 Days].

Following the above i thought well i will jump on Faceit see if there has been any improvements and to enjoy a bit of CS2.
Been playing for 8 days/ish, while playing faceit I'm counting down the cool down days on CS2. Finally!! CS2 cool down is over!!!

BUT, WAIT..........

Whats that?........ Another 9 days cool down?
How can i get a cool down while not playing on CS2 servers??
REMOVE THE CS2 REPORT SYSTEM FROM FACEIT SERVERS!!!!!!!

hey. habe auch die selben probleme seit jahren berichte ich darüber und versuchte mehrfach valve oder steam versucht darüber zu informieren aber es ist nie irgendetwas passiert. ich spiele seit fast 2 jahren nicht mehr richtig und habe dauernd angst weggesperrt zu werden obwohl ich angeschossen und spielbehindert werde nur leider als solo spieler in der unterzahl bin.
das system interessiert es nicht das die mich anschießen und blocken sondern nur die reports die von den neuen untrusted accounts kommen gegen einen veteran der fast 10k stunden auf dem account stehen hat.
seit dem ist das spiel am nachlassen und sie denken eine neue map hilft.

habe allein heute schon über 5 verrschiedene beiträge zu diesem thema gelesen und da gibt es tatsächlich noch mods, die denken es ist richtig so, griefer müssen weggesperrt werden, aber das dieses system falsch eingestellt ist und nur den griefern dient, das wollen sie nicht kapieren.

I agree brother, something needs to change with the report system. Its hard because i don't see a lot of people commenting on this issue, it needs to be brought to their attention.

CS2 is owned by VALVE, not FaceIT. If FACEIT has some kind of issues with that, then they should stop using VAC secured servers.

reports outside of ranked didnt do anything in csgo i never seen it get changed in cs2 but i might have

they always did, thats why a lot of faceit players and even some pros were automuted in matchmaking because they got reported on faceit - the same goes for griefing cooldowns, which is an immensely flawed system in itself too

You complain about VALVE's moderation working on FACEIT servers. Then they should disable VAC on their servers, since FACEIT uses VAC secured servers.

Brother VAC belongs to Valve, so Valve will be the people this message needs to reach lol. I don't understand what is hard to understand? Its not Faceit's fault, They want the best experience for their players which i respect. Don't get me wrong they have some issue to fix also. Its a Valve issue issue.

I never got to play CSGO maybe like 2 hours unfortunately. I was always a cod player, then i see sense. Following that i then realised both will do your head in lol.

It is. CS2 is VALVE's game. Either FACEIT users cope that it uses VAC. Or ask FACEIT to stop using VAC secured servers and enjoy the experience without VAC. I mean, whats there to fear? FACEIT users usually love to talk about how good FACEIT AC is, why need VAC then?

Start reporting everyone every single game for griefing, if this becomes enough of a problem, valve might do something (they definitely wont). It is what it is. Thanos was right.
