After getting latest service medal, experience level reset after each game

Recently I traded my all levels for latest service medal, but after that my experience level got reset to level 1 after each win. I raised a support request but they gave me ranking system bla bla bla and closed the issue. Now after like earning five levels I am still stuck in level 2. It seems like forever to raise experience level.

Dude, are you mentally okay? Everyone knows that when you get a Service Medal, level 40 resets back to level 1. What exactly are you complaining about?

OP's issue is that they can't progress past level 1 after redeeming the service medal.

Got it, I misunderstood. It looks like an issue with the weekly XP bonus, but I couldn’t fully understand OP’s problem.

Sometimes players don’t receive XP at the end of matches due to a bug, but the missing XP usually gets credited a few hours later. Maybe that’s the issue here.

Let's say my current xp is 948 points, then I played a match and am awarded 400xp, then 400 xp is shown just after the match finishes; But as soon as I play next match, new xp points are being added to older 948 points only instead if (948+400) points

I have the same? or a similiar problem, after every game it shows that my exp bar goes up 0-70% and the next game again 0-70% etc.. its not adding it up. When I try to get my weekly case drop i have to play a really good game so that my exp goes from 0 to 100%, but it is not every day :o

You can't go from 0 to 100% because there's a max XP in Casual, Deathmatch and other competitive modes so I'm pretty sure you and OP both experience a visual bug.

OP might have played so much this week he's just getting reduced XP and doesn't notice much of a difference.
I'd probably try fixing the issue by verifying your games files through the Steam library or waiting until the XP reset in about 36 hours from now. I'd only consider reinstalling the game if you still have the same issue after the upcoming XP reset.

At the very bottom of the page it tells you "CS:GO Profile Rank" and "Experience points earned towards next rank". Maybe play a game and see if anything there changes.

Sounds like a skill issue, I don't have any problems myself on gaining experience after getting my first sm, getting restarted back to lvl 1.

Verifying game files seems to fix the issue, I played 2 games recently and xp points of both game added properly as expected! I am not sure, but this might also be related to using multiple steam accounts from same system and mobile steam authenticator pointing to same mobile number for multiple accounts!
