Unplayable performance - i5-12400 and Arc A750 GPU

I finally re-installed the game after months of not playing it. And the performance is worse than it used to be. I used to play at 1440p at a reasonable framerate. I'm not aiming for like above 100Fps, but just stability.

Now it's a stuttery mess and regularly freezes on me.

I play on an i5-12400 and an Intel Arc A750, in Ubuntu. I generally don't have issues with other games. My GPU drivers are up to date.

I have had issues in the past with some games but it was always just a game patch or GPU driver issue, or sometimes a proton update fixed it. Right now only CS2 is busted for me.

Is the game generally bad to run for people or is this a Linux issue or an Intel Arc issue.

Arc seems to suck for CS2 (even on Windows).

I am also using I5, the game isn't running properly lol. 1GB minimum requirement btw.
