Why did valve removed communite maps today? Imo Thera and memento was really good. Are comunity maps temporary?

if you want them to stay, download the map from the workshop and join community servers.

yes communite maps are only temporary they add and remove them as they go

That's just stupid imo. There is so few maps already. They should just add until they got a decent pool of maps like in csgo and then start thinking about what to remove

They are trying to keep it simple for new players who are about to spend on skins. Its repeatable but they don`t really need players hanging around for too long. Just spend your money, get bored and go away. Stop being a resource hog xD

so the game wont end up like tf2

there are like 60 community-made maps for haloween and at least 75% of them are dead. also unlike csgo, maps in cs2 are much bigger so yea. community maps are meant to be temporary

Whenever I tried playing those maps I ended up in empty servers. And for Competitive it takes around 20 minutes to play on those maps.

I’m sure they will rotate the community maps like Thera and mills back in. Removing them and putting in new ones while keeping the core maps has been going on for years. It allows for a variety while not becoming stagnant. They aren’t gone forever.
