Chrome scripts and VAC, do they clash?

I've gotten back into a web browser game recently that I use scripts for overlays and making data easier to read in the said game, but I'm an avid CS enjoyer and would rather not want to be VAC banned for running these chrome extension scripts while playing CS or even triggering VAC when chrome is closed god forbid.

I'm not a very tech smart person and would love if someone with a bit of knowledge could shed some light on whether or not the scripts in question would trigger VAC in any way, shape or form. I'd like to keep the scripts as they make my browser game so much easier to navigate but ultimately I do trade skins periodically for CS and could potentially lose $$$$ with a VAC banned inventory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Why would you use the scripts for another game while playing csgo?

Yeah because it's not in the game but it's being put in your game by you, so yes

its not a cheat script its more QoL upgrade to a 10+ year old game that never interacts outside of chrome which is whats throwing me for the loop
