Thank you for your reply. I'll wait and hope for a week. If the ban is not lifted then it's an injustice for all the 655.5 hours worth of playing and developing my skills. I never grief or got banned for griefing before. So it shouldn't be a problem.
You have either been behaving like a **** and it's your second Overwatch ban, first being temporary, or you sowed signs that you were cheating and Overwatchers agreed that fact.
Story about a specific game means nothing as you have no idea what match was viewed by Overwatch
Notice also that if VAC get you too, only the VAC shows up on the profile.
TBC
I was not behaving like what you think. I rarely open the mic. If I open it, I give information to my teammates. I only get mad when people claim I was cheating which is rare. Sometimes I get mad when someone is being toxic. Wallbanging isn't a thing. It's common to wall bang. What you think is amazing snap HS may not be amazing to others. And what do you mean by my second overwatch ban?
I'm telling the incident which happened yesterday and I clearly said I 'suspect' it is the reason because I was having no problem with my account or people in CSGO for at least the past 1 month. Before that, I might have had arguments with some toxic players which commonly happens not just to me but among others too. I will just wait a week to see if they re-investigate my case.
Overwatch can ban for griefing/bad behaviour. First time is a temporary ban. second time it it's permament.
Other ban type is when overwatchers agree cheats were in use.
I assume you didn't use mobil authenticator either and someone cheated on your account which you didn't even notice. Next time care more.
Anyway if you like you've been wrongfully banned then you should contact Steam Support. They won't outright lift the ban but in some cases it might have sped up the process of reversing false positives.
You can find Steam Support via "Help" in the top left corner on your client.
Naaaah, is the classic cheater acting like all of them act: "I'm better", "I play with globals", "Face it lvl π"....
You cheat, you got caught, create a new account and this time try learning spots, recoil, communications.... You will improve your game and see that being a good player is funnier than just cheat to look cool in front of others.
Keep in mind that there are people playing this game for tenthousands of hours over decades, each day more than 8 hours and some even earn millions. And non gets banned because it is quite easy to spot a cheater.
Also, game bans usually take longer than one day so it's very likely that a demo older than that got reviewed.
Did you have a previous griefing ban (30-40 days long)? Because then it's for griefing.
You can't contact anyone. If that is a false ban then it gets removed automatically.
I never added money to my Steam account haha. I started playing CSGO when it became free and I reached level 21, so I got prime enabled on my account. But nowadays it's not possible to get prime enabled if we reach level 21 in CSGO if not mistaken.
I added a mobile authenticator but then I removed it again because I deleted the Steam app on my mobile. Other than that, I don't think anyone hacked my steam account. If anyone hacked it, they need to hack my Gmail account first which is safe. But thank you for your advice.
Thank you. And I found the Steam Support page now. I'll send them a message to re-investigate my case.
You'll get an automatic message and that's it. They will not investigate. Your account is literally a throw-away account. You lost literally nothing since you've never uploaded your account with any money, plus you got your prime-status for free. As you said, your mobil authenticator was disabled which was also a big mistake of you. You better to start a new account and as i said earlier: care more. Use full protection and show your commitment at least with a 5 euro upload...
