Eu Servers are ruining Competitive CS:GO for Uk Players

Hi, Don't know if many of you get this, But im a Uk based Player who regularly plays CS:GO Competitively. I find myself being placed with players that aren't always bad players but are mainly Russian or of Different Nationality. Now this isnt always an issue, rarely some are good and will communicate. But too often i am placed with people who don't speak english and rather troll or curse rather than work as a team. I would like to know if there is a way to change to NA Servers or if hopfully if this becomes noticed have a new server opened for Uk based players. For a game that requires communication and team work i find it weird that im being forced to play with people that i cannot do either of that with. Repeatedly stuck in gold nova 1 and silver elite master due to difficulties of teams

Use private lobbies with NA players or learn some Russian :)
Most of Russians I know can do at least basic communications and callouts )

I agree, im looking to use a proxy for usa servers, i play with a few usa people sometimes and ping is only 70-80 ish better that then none english speaking people all the time

You're not being held back by Russians who can't speak English if you're SEM/Nova1.
That's only an excuse for your ego.

As much as it sucks playing with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who refuse to do anything else but scream in their own langauge, just focus on your own gameplay and improve on that. Because that's what all the games you play have in common and hence is the only thing that you can change overall.
Personally I just mute anyone who doesn't have anything constructive to say and that includes speaking anything else than English.


Also saying this is due to Europe as opposed to a minority of post-soviet states and the odd ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ premade is pretty ignorant.
Most Europeans are very proficient in English.

csgo matchmaking server picker tool need to use windows firewall. and block all the server you dont want . fixed. 90% less ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I have regularly problems with this kinda stuff and it annoys me so much. I know I'm not the best player, far from it in fact. But I'm trying to play properly and learn and 90% of games I get are foreign people with terrible mic quality who just get angry and start ranting to be kicked because we have a couple of bad rounds and once you're only a couple of rounds down they just completely give up and don't listen to anything you say they just swear at everyone for dying even if they're the worst player on the team. I'm not saying that if I only had English speakign people that would never happen but at least I'd be able to communicate with them better and from my experience the English speaking people I've been matched win have been far more relaxed and understanding than the over aggressive eastern Europeans I get put with almost every game.

I'd like to see a Language filter or a "has mic" filter in game so I can get put with people I can actually play with and learn with as I go

I get team mates that don't speak english or just flame very rarely, so I don't see the issue. But you want to play with NA players, you do realise you get around 100-200 ping connecting from England to America?

Even if they are of different nationality, the people I get queued up with, even in soloq, know a few words of English and can make call outs.

Don't expect anything from your team mates, therefore you won't be disappointed.

Vela, that is probably because your playing at a higher rank where those sorts of players are in silver and nova ranks. The majority, serious majority of people i find from england, are in russia and they speak next to no english, they shout weird words, laugh, team kill, block you, flame, beg to be kicked, cry when we lose because of them being useless, im sorry but as 1 guy, you can not carry that hard if everyone else doesnt even understand callouts, that is my experience and its been hell getting anywhere for a long time.

You say it doesn't hold people back, your actually wrong, in games where I play with friends or communication, i easily top frag or second frag, in bad games where people dont hold points and im shot from behind because they dont even make a formation as terrorist, then yes, im lucky to have 5 kills ahead of deaths..

It is a serious issue and i would rather have bad ping than bad team.
At least i can play wingman with bad ping but with bad team? the only role is to lurk.

Valve should finally listen to the community. Every day new postings over Russians. I feel the same. The last Game 4 Russians in my team. Only Russian chat and voice chat. Do not understand why I have chosen Europe as a region ...

make your max ping 50 you get less russians but still the odd one (im from the uk to)

i get this problem all the time too (also from uk)
though really most of my problems seem to stem from underlying racism, more often than not it seems like just talking in a British accent is enough to piss team mates off to the point where they will shoot/flash the team and generally do what they can to be bad (run solo with the bomb through long doors whilst the rest of the team is going b etc...).
i think the problem is the UK players being placed in Eastern EU servers, if it were more biased to the northern or central servers we would get al lot more good teams (my thinking here is almost all the peeps i have added because of CS were from central/northern eu mostly Sweden and Germany......you guys are good team mates!!)
