Trade Up Contract -VS- Opening Cases

Which is better? Spending $20 on a bunch of purples to trade in while hoping to get a red, or spending $20 on keys and hoping to get a red?

Is there more luck with Trade Up Contracts, or Case Openings?

Tell me what you think, and your terrible stories about your own Case Openings/Trade Up Contract failures!

Here are some stats i made myself by watching a twich streamer opening lot of cases for the new year: on a total of 127 cases opened (phoenix, vanguard and bravo), he won:

106 blue, 14 violet, 7 pink, 0 red and 0 gold

On the lottery wheel was visible:
- reds were visible only 9 times of 127 (he never won any of them)
- gold was visible only once of 127 (ofc he didnt won it)

Then he took all his blue skins and made trade up to get higher color, and so on until he got a 5$ or 10$ red skin (the eagle koi or something like that, i dont remember well)

Total 317$ of cases for such result.

Make you own conclusions about this...

My advice would be: go buy on the market the skin you want...

If you want to unbox like 20 Cases, i would suggest to open 3 per day.

The chance of getting a knife more likely. It worked for me in Tf2 and got a 200€ unusual so....

open cases is very bad. if you dream at night and see the mansour, open the case.

First ..Try letting all your friend open some of your case :P and then ... find the one with the highest value then... tell he to open the rest of your case done ^-^ highest skin value = highest luck (chance of getting legendary = 0.0000000001% not impossible) >:3
