Software for checking temperatures of your hardware components.
Install, start speedfan, start csgo go offline bots and leave it for a bit 2-3 minutes.
And then just alt+tab and check temperatures
It seems to be linked with overheating mostly.
It should be like a safety so you dont lose your CPU GPU
fps_max 60
fps_max_menu 60
It should basically limit fps so whatever overheats wont be used fully.
But might also have no effect.
Yep, sometimes I reduce by like 30c after I clean sometimes
Monitor your temp with an application like Speedfan or something and see how that goes.
For me the heat problem was in my GPU. I sorted my issue by making my GPU fan speed more reactive to rising temps when I turned on games, with the help of MSI Afterburner. But I wouldn't recommend doing the same with any program unless your power supply can handle excess power to what your computer actually requires, or you'll slowly burn that out instead.
My components only need a 400w supply. But I decided to put in a 500w to handle pushing that one fan a bit beyond its in-built setting.
U can find countless threads on same issue, all of them are about temperature.
I dont want to take your suggestion down, but I think he should focus on checking the temperature first.
Even huge articles like this: http://www.pcgamer.com/why-does-my-pc-reboot-while-playing-a-game/
I remember this issue here on the forums many times. Temperature too high, PC shutting down because of its safety.
Also read somewhere else that a guy had a problem with temperature sensor and simply had to remove CPU put down new cooling paste and voila.
Yep, perfect.
Using MSI afterburner myself. Mostly graphic card is on Automatic fan speed, and with many graphic cards its just like 20%-30% by default and never really changes.
Using MSI Afterburner you can set up a graph % with xC° and you can set it up to 100%
But I think I have been reading that it might reduce the lifespan of fans, and that this is why its on rather low % by default.
Still he needs to check those temps so he dont go blindly.
