How to reconnect to competitive match?

So I was playing a competitive match and somehow got d/c'd but the game didn't actually close. I could hear my teammate talking the whole time too. So after the match closed I tried to reconnect. It didn't work... So I frapsed it for proof. Now I'm banned for 24 hrs, being my 3rd time this happening within 24hours.

That is the video... Its uploading so you'll have to wait til its done. So how can I actually reconnect?

when you disconnect when you relaunch ur csgo at the main menu it will say at the top reconnect or abandon game

I understand this 100%, you'll see in my video I tried doing this once or twice, within 1 minute of being out of my game.

this game sucks. my modem lost connection for 3 minutes yesterday, coudlnt reconnect so got 24h ban. Today server crashed so i couldnt connect - after 20s it says couldnt reconnect. And now i get 7 days ban. WTF Valve?

Yes you are doing everything correctly. Probably just valve servers.

Disconnect/reconnect your internet, happened to me yesterday when i tried to connect to my 5g internet in-game, i then connected to my previous wifi and it worked.
I was very angry that valve didn't fix this problem as it happened on my main acc about 2 months ago

what when u get dc in last round so u dont have time to reconnect because match has ended? What when couldnt recconect because of valve server crash? u will be punished anyway.

Actually all you had to have done was restart CS: GO, but it looks as if you didn't A simple restart could have prevented that, but even the most smart people don't realize that.

I did in fact restart my game after I frapsed the video. The first time it happened I restarted the game 4 times and the 2nd time it happened I restarted it 6 times. This time I only tried once after the fraps. So take that ignorant ass ♥♥♥♥ elsewhere.
