4:3 instead of black bars on laptop
when i put my screen res in 4:3 it put on black bars but i want the stretched screen
i'm on a laptop

♦Laptop ASUS
♦Intel core i5-4210U Quad-core
♦Nvidia GeForce GT 820m
♦6GB DDR3
♦1Tb HD

its a driver setting look up how it works for nvidia

I'm not an expert, just lucky I watched that video yesterday. Only thing I would try is reinstalling your gfx drivers. But, don't take that as advice, just what I would do.

I assume you have intel HD graphics too, so left click on the desktop, select intel hd graphics settings, go to display, set your resolution to 1024x768 and select the stretch image option which will be available once you set a lower resolution than native. If you are done with this then you can set it back to native res. If you go to cs:go and change your resolution to 1024x768 then your image should be stretched.

Switchable graphics are mainly controlles by the integrated gpu, that is why your nvidia control panel has limited settings.

4:3 is a resulotion.

with a 16:9 screen the monitor can either Strech out the picture or make it native (black bars)

Hello , can you help me with this ? I tryed that change in Intel HD but it didnt work for me ... CS:GO is still with black bars on 4:3 - 800x600 . When im on PC i have it without black bars . Pls help me :/ .
