No, Dust 2 is just that overplayed.
I agree with the OP. Casual and Deathmatch really need map selection because 90% of the time it is Dust 2. It is often back to back to back Dust2.
It is really hard to warm up for competitive when you can't warmup on the maps you plan to play and must instead deal with awp whoring on Dust2.
They added competitive style matchmaking for the non-competitive game modes a while back, but for some reason neglected to also add map selection.
The technology is already available in the game so why isn't it being used for all game modes.
This kind of thing should not need to be asked for, it should already be in the game.
no i didnt and it doesnt matter if theres voting, ppl usually manage to win the vote for it to be dust 2 again anyways.
Random Map Roll , in casino slot style.
The system will determine what next map should be.
That would (maybe) solve the Dust II spam lovers.
What they need to do in addition to adding map selection, is to put Dust 2 in its own group and seperate it from the other maps.
That way everyone who loves Dust 2 can play it 24/7 and those who like a variety of maps are free to play them Dust 2 free.
If I'm not mistaken this feature was in casual-mode, and has since been removed and changed to Active duty / Reserves.
Also nice necro you daft
