Can I get a vac ban for mouse software?

Hello ladies and gents and merry christmas to you all.

My wife just gave me a corsair m65 for christmas and the manufacturers recommend the use of their mouse software. From what I can see, the software allows you to assign macros to mouse buttons etc. Obviously, I'd like to use my mouse how it's intended but I definitely don't want to do anything that could be considered cheating. I'm at my parents right now so I cant test the software for a few more days and see for myself so I was hoping someone here might be kind enough to give me the necessary guidance.

I think VAC considers anything intercepting the game as cheat, can't recommend.
But you can try binding commands for the same effect.

Rapid fire macros will get you reported to OW.

VAC only bans for cheats such as wallhack, aimbot, bunnyhop

rapid fire doesnt work on go as guns have a set max speed

You can bunnyhop without cheats but you won't gain speed.

If he gets a permanent OW ban for..that doesn't matter. The end result is the same.

can still get you a overwatch ban
but common macros and bhop in MM wont work properly as they limit the speed after 2nd jump

I have the razer death adder chroma that has macro recording options built in with the software. I have not used them, but I'd like to know if this would cause a ban or not also, (its razer synapse 2.0 driver software) I'm sure the same question applys to keyboards with programmable bindings.
