You will not get banned because of recording software, you will get banned becuase VAC detected a known cheating signaturerunning while you were in game.

this is public forums. no one here works for valve. the mods here just volunteer to keep forums clean.. that is all. they have nothing to do with vac system or any banning system.

hit it up with support and be reeady for copy n paste response.

your account was running with cheats of some sort injected into game. doesnt matter if it was you.. your little brother or your cat your account is your responsibilty.

This is a public forum. Use steam support next time. Except that you cannot get unban ever, because you cheated and got caught for it.
