(being a Nvidia Newbie here...)
makes your colours more colourful so your eyes wont get tired
And no you cant do it
not sure if its vac safe or not - use at your own risk
This is the problem here. I don't like any third party solution because I'm 100% clean and even if it didn't enhance my gameplay it would surely ruin my reputation if vacation was given.
As Hesgrad said, Digital Vibrance setting indeed make colors more colorful, but the real advantage is the way you are able to see enemies. See NIP Friberg's (who is a professional csgo player) stream for instance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntg_gCyFF3c
You'll notice how things are a bit yellow. Try it yourself and see the difference. You can find the setting from Nvidia control panel under Display: Adjust desktop color settings > Digital Vibrance. Default is 50% and many pro players use something between 80-100%.
This setting is totally VAC safe and accepted by Valve. The problem I'm having is when the setting is 100% and I am not in CSGO even the desktop colors are like that. I'm looking for an automation to put the setting to 100% when I launch csgo and back to 50% after. According to Hesgad you can't do it and that's pretty much the answer I got myself after googling it...
Yeah that's what I have now. It's stupid that you have an option to set game specific settings, but it doesn't include vibrance.
It works perfectly for this.
It only turns vibrance on in CS:GO.
When you tab out it returns the vibrance to normal
it is legit
Thanks for the link I'll check it out at home. I am very cautious with my softwares when it's about csgo cause im not interested in getting a vac ban, maybe too cautious, but it has worked fine so far
This is not software that can be banned.
It is simply a profile that runs in the background that checks when you start CS and it turns the vibrance up for you.
You can google it and see that it does not cause any issues with CS or Vac.
It simply a faster method for turning up Vibrance.
I've used it for ages.
Alright thanks for the input, much appreciated mate.
RandomRambo is useing vibranceGUI,so i guess its legit:)
