Best mouse settings for my Razer Deathadder Chroma?
I just got my Razer Deathadder Chroma and i wanna know what the best settings are, I don't mean like DPI and stuff because that's personal preference. I have 7.84 Mouse sensitivity in-game, 2000 DPI in Razer Synapse and 6/10 windows. That might seem like sky-high sensitivities but i can work with it perfectly. What should polling rate be? 125,500 or 1000? Acceleration is off in CSGO and in Razer Synapse. Raw input is on in csgo. So can i do anything better? If you need to know I have a mousepad Steelseries QCK.

Jesus Christ... I just want to point out that your overall DPI is like 15,680 or something.. mine is like 900 in comparison, with 600 dpi times 1.5 sens.... I can't imagine anyone could find that humanly workable, let alone effective.

What is your rank?
The default 3 in-game sensitivity of CS was build from times when the ancient mouses had only 400 DPI; so the 1200 total DPI seems to be the optimal setting.

Now we can use the 1 in-game sens with the 1200 about native mouse DPI or other similar combinations - The mouse's laser diode get more precise and straight moves than the in-game sens multiplication.
I use 900 DPI, 1.3 in game sensibility and 6/10 in windows acc

I use 400 DPI and 3.14 sensitivity. You have to find your own sweetspot between speed and precision
This post is pretty old, my in-game is now 2.50 and 2000 DPI, which is still high I know but I also have a high resolution.
Btw my rank is now MG1, I always update it on my game-profile. I'm usually 1st to 3rd.

Have also Chroma 1800dpi@0.82 sens. Pollrate 500Hz is enough.

Because anything above 3 sensitivity @450 DPI is absurdly high and totally not the way to get good at this game. You need low sensitivity to get consistency in your aim.

Most players at Global level are around 2 to 3 sens @ 400 DPI, and usually people at that level have above average skills, so most players should put it lower than that. Here is a spreadsheet with a list of the sensitivity used by pro players: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12PSHqb8Vwg8rSCOkGjbbsj8iBsm8p52jOLffDc88iy8/pubhtml

The down side is that you should use a giant mousepad to play at low sens, new player often don't have that. Also, the fact that your mouse can go at very high DPI isn't relevant for CSGO. I personnally use a Steelseries Rival, it can go up to 6500 DPI, but I use 450 DPI with a 1.5 in game sensitivity (I'm DMG). I already posted this video earlier in this post, but I highly recommend new players to take the time to follow this tutorial.

We often say not to take too much time tweaking your config because it's mostly preferences, but If I could only change one setting in CSGO to adapt it to my preferences it would difinitelly be sensitivity.

This is for the most part correct, I'm global, and so is my entire LAN team, and we all use from 1-2 sens @ 400 dpi (or the equivalent of something around there, on a different DPI)
