Contraband Rifles?

What are they?
What kind of rarity are they worth?

All I know is that there's Consumer, Mil-Spec, Classified, Restricted, Covert.

What is Contraband Rifle? Is it rarer than any other, or at the very bottom?



The type of contraband rifle I'm thinking of getting is the M4A4 | Howl.

Contraband category is for skins with stolen designs

There's only one skin thats labeled as Contraband at the moment, there's alot of hype about the M4A4 Griffin going Contraband because someone may have found a stolen image that was used to make the Griffin. There's only one skin witht he Contraband rarity at the moment, and that's why its the highest rarity, because you cant unbox or use the trade-up contract to upgrade to it.

What makes a weapon with a skin better?
Does it have different bulletspread? different damage? Bigger/smaller magazines?
It's the exact same gun, just different colors...
