Banned for wallhacking in a private match vs bots? :/
I was in a competative match and one of the other team was using wallhacks so blatantly so i googled it and wanted to see how it would work for myself personally, i decided that i wasnt going to use it online as i don't see the point, takes the fun out of the game so i done it in a private match vs bots on de_dust2.

I was totally unaware that hacking in private matches with no one but yourself was bannable in anyway shape or form, i can't see any details given on the ban rules of cs:go (I did check previously).
I automatically assumed that since i would not be tampering with any public servers or players that i would not receive a ban, pretty logical right?

Anyway i just wanted to let people know that if you do decide you want to know what having hacks feels like, DONT! (Obviously unless you want to waste your cash by getting a VAC ban then do it).

I apologize and i feel ashamed of myself for even trying in the first place.

:D

Cheaters never win. End of story.

Wasn't really cheating in my opinion, it was against bots.

I would totally understand if it was public, but i don't see the logic in it.

The hacks didn't even work either, that's the funny part.

Its against the rules to add or edit any scripts in the game to give you the advantage over other weither it was private match or not you cheated and got VACd

As i just said, the hacks didnt even work, i just loaded the file then closed it and i got VAC'd.

Must have been blacklisted or something.

Well if you were the few who read the terms of service for Steam (like me) You would know that even if its in a private lobby, Valve Anti-Cheat would still be enabled. And you would get a ban for attempting to disable it blah blah blah, but thats a different story.
Point is, even if its a private lobby, never cheat. That's like saying "Hey! I killed someone in an isolated area, just to try it out, I don't deserve the ban!"
EDIT: You should change your profile picture to Hellraisers Emilio. Enjoy your VACation.

Considering it is a Private Match i didn't expect it to be connected to a VAC server, i assumed it would be like playing an offline campaign or something, maybe Valve should me more clear.

Valve states it VERY clearly in the terms of service.

Thats the thing alot of people on here who get VAC are dirty cheaters and they would do almost anything to get the dirty red 1 VAC on record off their profile and you could be lying as you maybe tried it online and ended up saying you did it in a private match just to get a hope of getting the VAC removed

Nope, im not really that bothered that in VAC'd from CS:GO, the games quite boring anyway :P
If i tried it online, i would've said i tried it online, i don't care about the VAC record or any of that ♥♥♥♥ :p i only had about 150hrs recorded i think.

Valve clearly states VAC bans are permanent and will not and can not be appealed for removal, i was posting this as a pre-warning :P
