It's imposible since DH is a LAN event.

Pick'Em Challenge rewards you with a badge (coin).
If you want an extra coin (in addition to say Vanguard coin) - yes, it's worth it!
If you want a gold coin only - you probably won't get it - no, not worth it.

After the event you can sell the stickers and probably make some profit if price goes up (unlikely). So you don't lose much.

VAC bans doesnt usually come right away. It can take even years to get vac ban from cheating.

And this is very unlikely. It's almost like bet against the odds and you might get gold coin. I mean C9 was humiliated by HR, NiP lost to LDLC and struggling very hard against ESC (who?). I don't play this kind of guessing games.

I know there's a little possibility that cheater gets a ban durin major. But what I wanted to say is they shouldn't 'cause it's a LAN event, and they shouldn't be punished for earlier sins during cheat-free event.

It is too hard to get a gold badge, so no it is not worth it.

Your chances of getting a bronze or silver badge of failure is too likely, unless you are extremely lucky with your picks.

It makes the game more fun to watch, so it's worth it to me. As long as you aren't completely stupid, Bronze is pretty much guaranteed if you know who the teams are and participate each day. But yes, Gold is a crapshoot, and so far, having gold is just in indication that you took a gamble and intentionally didn't bet on the better team every time. Too much luck is involved in Best of 1 and unknown map selections.

hr over c9 was an easy decision for me. they sucked last games, bootcamped, but thats not an indicator to get better. and ldlc over nip.. i think they were lucky to get to the final anyway. Only two bets i lost was Penta over IBP and Navi over Dig.

My bigger issue is that in order to get the coins, you have to buy stickers at $1 each, but Valve discounts them for pennies later on, so you don't have the option of selling them back.

i have 2014 bronze coin. it costed me less than $ 0.50 ;D
