Why do people sell knives for 1 dollar or less?

Aren't knives supposed to be extremely rare and expensive? If so, why do people sell them at a really low price?

If you check the price history (lifetime tab) you can see that knives are being sold for very cheap prices. This doesn't apply for ALL knives though.

Seen it also a couple of times. Which is weird, its not like a friend buys it, because they could trade. Wrongly typed is hard to believe with that value, and it happens pretty often.

So who and why is really a good question.

Yes mistyped and there use to be a glitch. I sold my awp graphite factory new statrak for 77cents instead of $77 :(

Well i mean, if you spent a lot of keys and crates unboxing (this takes a lot of money unless you're lucky) or you bought the knife, you're going to want to sell it expensive because you paid a lot for it. Yeah yeah it's just a cosmetic change and it's a stupid in-game item but i wouldn't want to lose money from it regardless.
