Why is the Gandalf spot on Dust 2 called Gandalf?

I'm watching a stream and just heard it. Can someone enlighten me? :P

Its the spot behind the boxes on A Site near "Ninja".

The casters on the Penta vs DP match called it so i'm guessing it's official. I just want to know why it's called that lol

Never heard of that spot before, maybe it's just a nickname that's only used by those people. There is a spot called "Goose" however, which is the little area in the back at A Site, which has graffiti that says "Goose" (which is how that area got its name).

lol I guess it is just a nickname then. Perhaps they call it Gandalf because it gives you an overview of the gap between A site and Long. You shall not pass!

its a spot where gandalf 420 no scoped 3 T's with his AWP called 420blazefgtwizard and then got Banned for hacking
