And even giving a wrong answer. Community server are still avaible even with a comp ban

when you are temporarily banned from competitive in CS:GO, you are ONLY banned from official 5v5 and 2v2, both ranked and unranked;

faceit tournaments are community servers, which are not official and therefore you can play on them.

faceit also can't see whether you are banned or not in official competitive so they can't implement such ban synchronisation on their end as well luckily (and why would they do that even if they could)
