Ranks hidden in-game
Why do you make ranks ingame and then prevent them from being seen until the end of the match? It should atleast be shared with your team members, I understand hiding it from the opposing team, but why hide it from the team you are on? Just seems stupid to hide it.

I think it would be a decent idea to show ranks as it gives a slight indication of skill (Ok, it's not a perfect indication and noone should be fully judged by it.)

But I just think it would be a nice asset to have on a team scoreboard so that you could quickly assess the team you are with and evenly spread out to each bombsite etc or who should cover while others rush. It's not majorly important but it would be a lot better than keeping ranks hidden till the end, it's a 'RANK' not a secret identity that is forbidden to be seen until the end of the match.

If I was a member of the armed forces doing an actual counter terrorist attack in real life, I'd assume I'd be able to see the ranks of the other officers I was with as it would have it clearly on their clothing.... Which tbh makes me think you should add a rank badge onto the player models lol.

Not looking for an arguements but let me know your thoughts and opinions on this

Cheers

Brad

It can make people evade enemies with higher rank in certain position, like there is a eagle playin with aks, and the eagle go B, because you can see the ranks, nobody will try go to A and all the time atack A

And people should be your rank always, so... you already know without show it

Many people would instantly quit if they see a higher rank. Is a good thing ranks are hidden.
Also it could be used as a "reason" to kick you from a team.
For example: You are GN3 and rest of the team is GN4. They see you are lower ranked and they trashtalk and kick you for that "reason".

Please re-read my post, I did not say show opposing teams ranks.

Just incase you missed it, I mentioned my thoughts on showing opposing teams ranks in my first paragraph.

Surely they could have a report button for this so that people would avoid kicking due to being a lower rank, I agree it could happen but for the times it doesn't happen the benefits would be in favour.

Bro you are gonna get trash talk anyway if you are performing bad in mm.
It depends on individuals you are being mm with. I have no rank yet... started csgo this April 2020 and started playing it regularly in august. Recently I had been mm with four MG2 and they were very humble even knowing that I'm new. So we made better decisions in layout and we won. I was getting kills too because of layout and plan. On the other hand, once I was matched with two DMGs and yes, I got called.
You see... in my opinion as well, knowing ranks of your teammates helps... A lot if you are being mm with good people. If you aren't, things will go south whether they know your rank(lesser) or not.

they usually hide them to prevent responses from teammates or enemies in any negative ways.
