How does MMO mouses (e.g. Logitech G600) work with cs:go?
So, I got my regular mouse, but just ordered a g600, because it was in discount. I was wondering if it works fine on cs:go as well? I mean, it's adjustable up to 8200 dpi, so that's pretty cool, but anyone got any experience how it feels on fps games?

I got myself a Logitech FPS mouse, but I was wondering if I could use the MMO mouse on fps games as well, hate switching mouses
using a razer naga 2014, because i came from mmo's and don't intend to overly tryhard (merely gold nova 1 after close to 70 comp wins).
using the extra buttons for all the equipment slots, e.g. drawing flashbang - button #7.

mmo mice are a not good enough for high level of play, but everywhere below they are just fine and add quite some convenience.
It is absolutely fine in any game for pretty much any gamer on planet earth. I.m.o. mice carry more merit then they deserve when it comes to game performance. Skill is where it is at. You loose so much speed and response times already with the internet being in between you and your opponent I am very sceptical of the idea that any high end mouse is going to make a significant difference over any other high end mouse.
Maybe in a low ping (<1ms) lan environment in a professional setting where you are an exceptionally good player that it would matter. But randomly online in a counterstrike match, with random dudes that have average hand-eye coordination and an average ping of 30-60? I don't think so.

Such mice are perfectly fine for CS GO, but AVOID PLAYING HIGH DPI!
Logitech mice have some problems on very high DPI, examples being stuttering, forced mouse acceleration to name a few.
I'm using a razer naga hex and it's actually really handy when selecting weapons because scrolling can get confusing and reaching out to press the numbers on your keyboard can be quite annoying. I was just wondering if a real fps mouse would actually make a difference in my game (I'm a nova 3, mg 2 pre patch).
You all need to read this: http://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-mouse-myths-busted/

There is no such thing as a mouse with "acceleration", computer mice don't inherently have acceleration - it's not moving by itself. Please educate yourself.
