Why so much hate for young gamers?
If there being immature and squeling like a 8 year olds I understand. However if they just saying something on there mic...why so much hate?

I'm 13 years old so some might find me as a squeker and others won't. However, I currently am going through "voice changes". Am I embarresed, ashamed, or scared of that? No.

Just yesterday I said "I'm jelly of your redline sticker" to which a response I got "Oh great...another one." I asked him what he ment to which he replied "Your another one of those four year olds that's invading our game".

I didn't know what too say to this. I wanted to laugh and smack him at the same time.

Well, for one thing, this isn't a kids game. You're playing on a game made for people much older then you, not only that, but you're talking to said people, and adults don't usually like having conversations with kids because kids are annoying. Simply put. It's like if you walked onto a basket ball court full of adults and started playing with them, of course they're going to be annoyed, and rightfully so.

I don't think it's right to say a game is for a certain age group. I know it's a eSport and you can make money off of it, but it's not like the majority of the adults who play video games today didn't play video games when they were kids. And even if they were adults they should be mature about kids playing with them. If they don't want kids around them join a specific server for adults only.

Even one of my favorite YouTubers, TheWarOwl, says "You can be mature and also a kid.".

That's different, they played SINGLE PLAYER games. You're playing a Online game. And yes, Counter Strike is made for a much older audience, look at the age rating. Technically speaking, you shouldn't even be allowed to buy Counter Strike if you're 13.

It's perfectly alright to play this game even if you're a kid. It's just that most of the community shuns you off because they assume that kids are terrible at CSGO and are ruining the game with their high-pitched voices. There's not much you can do, honestly. Shake it off, shake it off~~~

Well the whole mindset of the fact that this is an M rated game is that the ideal age is 17/18. If the game was rated T then the story would be different.

TBH, I'd much ratehr play with people that are 18+. Not only do they know the game much better but they play it and communicate a lot more. And in most cases when people younger than that do bad they'll just keep talking / raging in their mics, and I'll just end up muting them. But.. I've not had a lot of people that are 13year old in my team that do that, I've only noticed them in pub games.

I guess it is 17+ but no one really follows the age ratings for games. If they did TF2 will be filled with adults as well...which just thinking about that would be weird.

And with singeplayer games you don't get the experince you do with multiplayer. Just think about playing with bots. The bot's barley use the tatics of a normal online player right?

That doesn't change the fact that you're not only playing a game made for adults, but you're talking to said adults which is not only dangerous but is very annoying for said adults because you probably sound like a 30 year old woman if you're a boy going through puberty.

Its probably because people have stereotyped kids as annoying and immature but I wouldn't let it get to you if i were you. Just play and if the other people throw insults at you just ignore them, they can be immature aswell.
I don't think enough kids really understand that this is a Adults game and that it's sort of a previlage to play it. If you want to play the game, of course I can't stop you, but at the very least just refrain from using a mic and don't tell others you are a kid.

Actually i found this kid to be very mature for his age.
One advice tho : Kids aren't hated, raging/crying kids are, so as long as you keep a good attitude everything should be fine ;) .
